This was a malicious, spiteful and targeted campaign by leftie civil servants and journalists aimed at removing a decent bloke from his job simply because he pushed staff hard to do a proper job.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Just read the Raab report What a bunch of pussies these civil servants are. Do as you are told and get on with it. If you get it wrong you The civil service has bungled along at its own turgid pace for years and every time a Minister (from any party) gets tough with them flounces and hissy fits abound. I have three good friends all of whom were in the Civil service at differing levels all of whom have told me of the totally slack modus opperandi of their various ministeries
