Thoughts on this one given he apparently only has 12 months left on his contract?

1 goal in 21 matches, looks a decent profile for a palace centre forward. Sign him!

The new Dele Alli?

He could be worth a gamble at the right price but Chelsea will likely want an 8 figure fee for him and he'll likely want something close to £100k a week which, quite frankly, he doesn't justify on either count.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

I think he might be quite good for us. He was pretty good in English football. He doesn't have a bad record - pretty favourable record when compared to any of ours. He's young, qualifies as English for registration purposes and has very high level experience, presumably coached well.
However, wouldn't want us to overpay or pay a high wage. Not sure on his attitude, but I don't remember anything bad in particular.
I realise I might be a dissenting voice, but surely he's been largely better than Townsend? When you think about that kind of thing it makes sense in many ways.
It would take a good bit of money, and still possibly be just as much of a risk, to get anyone much better.

His record here is pretty poor,

His record here is pretty poor,

He's a winger, not Harry Kane. He has 21 goals in 150 apps, has 40 odd assists and has been involved in quite a lot more goals than that. He often came on as a sub and has played at the highest level. I don't think we're buying Neymar, which is why Hudson-Odoi wouldn't be a bad fit for us. His record is quite good for a 22year old.

This! I'd love to sign him he would be incredible for us. Sadly I don't think we will get him...

He will be one of the players Chelsea will want to offload this summer.

However, given the fact Chelsea didn't want him this season and his poor spell abroad, it will certainly be very difficult for them to offload for any significant money.

Not sure any top 10 team in the PL would be interested.

There may need to be serious compromises made by Chelsea on the fee and the player on wages.

He could be loaned again, but he can't afford to fail again.

Otherwise he will rot in the reserves.

I'm not sure we would be interested, as said there would need to be serious drop money wanted. It seems we are more interested in Jack Clarke though.

Another Deli Ali, let early successful spell go to his head, then lost his desire. I doubt he would fit in at Palace.

I am very much aligned to this opinion.

I seem to remember there being massive hype around him and suffering some sort of existential crisis when watching him thinking ‘he’s not awful but I don’t see it’.

Always looked a bit resentful and disgruntled to me, no pace, doesn’t beat players, not a set piece specialist, not a prolific goal scorer, doesn’t assist regularly - what does he ‘actually do’?

I don’t have anything against him but a no from me, distinctly average.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
