In one way I was looking forward to a midfield battle between Doucoure and... er... Doucoure.

In another way, good.

Come on Arry...

YES!!!

Incredible how they bottled that. Were lucky to get away with a point.

They thrashed us 4-0,sadly although we put up a valiant first half performance.
Spurs??
Hopeless performance resulting in Everton getting an unlikely point.
Still three points behind us with an inferior GD.

Tottenham were without several players, Davies, Emerson Royal, Bentancur,Richarlison but overall they were not impressive.
Son and Perisic were well below their best.

They took the lead, Everton went down to 10 men and Tottenham dropped off allowing Everton a lion's share of the possession, totally befuddling.

Not impressive? They were shocking and if Southgate watched this game, he will never pick Eric Dier for England again. Shame on Kane for play acting, Everton outplayed Spurs even with 10 men.

What are my prospects of celebrating the double - a win against Everton and Tottenham?

There's too much play acting nowadays and it is spoiling the game. Perhaps the authorities should make over acting a yellow card offence

Incidentally I will be in Lanzarote for the Everton game and if I watch our games at Popeyes in Playa Blanca we tend to win

Doucoure's red card was a reaction one mainly to Kane's pretty tough tackle (although it was a legitimate one) and he has a history of letting his emotions get the better of him in similar situations.
I would be fuming if i was the Spur's manager as Moure's tackle was a totally needless red and it would have been his job to close down the defenders but he was not on the pitch to do so.
It was a great strike though from Keane and i have distant memory he scored another worldy against us back in the day or am i wrong and it was against someone else ?
