Ah, but things will change under Roy that's for sure..

Just to add insult to injury Brighton are 16th to our 98th.

At least things can only get better - providing we stay in the PL of course.

You can't change the way things are but you can change the way you are with the way things are.

And people question why Vieira was sacked.

No surprise. We have been appalling.

Some pundits have been saying that Vieira was unlucky.

They must have been infected by WOKE or haven't watched Palace since the World Cup.

It comes as no surprise really.

In reality there have been some other periods in our history when watching us has been a pretty bleak and unrewarding experience.

How much are they? How much does the club have to pay you to take one, I mean.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Yep, we've been total dross for a while. Let's hope Roy can get a tune out of them.

Hard to place where it all went wrong. Last season he had us playing possession football and were good one the eye. Was there a turning point where we gradually started to become more and more negative? The tactics in the semi final Vs Chelsea sticks out for me.

With Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp signing new contracts, does not bode well. But our Under-21 team beat Liverpool a couple of hours ago in an important cup game, so there is at least hope for the future.

I think it started when people were complaining earlier in the season that he was playing too many attacking players and that the slow, one footed and limited Doucoure was being exposed as a result.

We can't afford to replace them. What money that will be made available will go on more pressing needs. I fully expected those two to be offered extensions so no surprise and I don't see it as a bad outcome given our financial limitations. They will increasingly become options off the bench until we can afford better or our Academy produces replacements.
