Adverts on HOL which concern me

The one in Particular at the moment is "The worlds most beautiful twins" and a photograph of a pair of 6 year old girls in make-up and hair styled. Does anyone else think this kind of thing is extremely dubious in nature ? Are adults meant to be enticed into clicking on the advert to see what it reveals ? A pair of 6 year olds are said to be 'beautiful'. Just doesn't sit right with me. * incidentally, I know HOL has limited input into specific adverts as they come as part of a package. I have alerted the Webmaster to this problem to see if anything can be done to exclude such posts. A stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell give some indication of expected traffic numbers

i'll try, but just after i started the thread, "the world's most beautiful twins" disappeared. what buttons do you need to press to take a screenshot.? ahh, I'll google it, How do I take a screenshot? hold down ⊞ Win and Shift and press S = Use your mouse to draw a rectangle in order to specify what to capture. Windows then copies it to the clipboard. I disengage, I turn the page.

I get google advert either side of each page in the red banners. H ave mentioned it before, the disappear after a week(ish) but have re-appeared just today. I take great delight in reporting them to google, P's them off. This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Mine are almost always related to my search history. Usually for online shopping- clothes, cars or holidays. I can literally go on Thomas Cook or something and it’s all I’ll see for the next fortnight. As for FH OP, I know the advert you’re talking about as I see it often. It is one of a few which I think are prominent amongst those ‘women’s magazines’ type of lures you might click on if literally nothing better to do and takes you onto a dodgy site which is waiting for you to click on something that looks like news or whatever but you don’t realise is actually a link. I don’t think it’s too particular to any individual algorithms or sites and o guess that’s due to its success. They all fall into background for me now as I’m so used to them. Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
