I say sign him. He doesn't suit Newcastle's new style, but he would slot right in with us where we give our forwards more freedom to express themselves. Also, he is so much fun to watch. Surprisingly (if Google searches are to be believed) his wage isn't even that high. Gossip rags say Forest are interested, but surely they can't have any room left in their squad, can they?

Whilst I think there's more chance of Palace signing me in the forthcoming days he would fit a recent Palace tradition of wingers and be right at home here. He is undoubtedly our type of player - but I would have thought there was more chance of him ending up at Leeds or Villa or new money at Bournemouth
