Lampard sacked LIVE: Reaction and new Everton manager latest news [Link] via [Link]

No surprise there and, no, we don't want him thanks very much.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

In conversation with a learned gentleman yesterday, I opined that Lampard would be relieved of his duties by the end of today.

He joined Everton last season when they were 16th after 20 games and they finished the season in 16th place.
They are currently second from bottom and of course it is no surprise that he has been shown the door.

This season their transfer outlay was about £80 Mill but they received £60 Mill for Richarlison so their Net Spend was only around £20 Mill.

Cantankerous, unjustifiably arrogant, miserable, thick tw@.

Don't like him and never have. The only possible thing that could have endeared me to him in the slightest is if he took Everton down.

I think everyone is fearing them getting a very good manager in and saving themselves but I have to say given their board's track record, I sincerely hope and believe there is a chance they could get another dud in. Here's hoping.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Lampard was Everton's 7th manager since Moshiri became owner in early 2016.

Who had the best record Willo? (sincere question)

Everton is a psycho-drama I fully expect the 'fans' to burn the place down if a VAR decision goes against them.

They should have been forced to play behind closed doors, their behaviour has not improved.

I am praying for them to be relegated.

Justice.

You are not alone in that prayer.

Think if Lampard wishes to remain in club management he may have to drop down a league or two. Can’t imagine clubs queuing up to employ him.

In terms of win percentage, Carlo Ancelotti.

Lamps is ok don't be too hard he distinguished himself for England.

Everton is a 'nice little-earner' a private hospital temporary car parking space.

Enjoy and walk away, you are rid of Andy Burnham don't forget.

Was looking for something else, but came across this . . . [Link]

Apparently Unsworth had a 100% record tho, TBF, he was only an interim manager.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I'm not too surprised there, he's a world class manager.

May just be the permanently etched look of disgruntlement he carries however he didn't look to pleased to be there if my memory serves. Struggle to imagine anyone who would be now. Is FdB available?
