Seems their outlook on strategy is far from aligned.

It is understood that Textor – who attended Wednesday’s draw against Manchester United with Michele Kang, owner of the Washington Spirit women’s side – has grown frustrated at Parish’s hands-on approach and would like the club to show more ambition in the transfer market after a promising first 18 months under Patrick Vieira that included an FA Cup semi-final in his first season. Parish is believed to have met Textor on Thursday for the first time in weeks to discuss potential transfer targets.

Simple solution is for Textor to put some of his precious cash into the club, rather than buying a team in every league on earth. Or does Textor want Parish to just put more of Parish's money in?

Our "investors" are really disappointing. The may be better than nothing, but none of them have any real interest in the club, nor are they putting significant money into it. I actually have no idea why they signed on.

Textor is a snake oil salesman, and Harris & Blitzer are leeches.

As we know American investors are not flavour of the Year in any club at the moment

It would be good ( as he is spokesman) to share exactly the investments made YOY
to be open with the other investors (us)

Mixed Reports from suspect journalists fuel negative thoughts

So for our investors & board - jointly be open & share the investments, roadmap

knowing they can’t name names on Players they are trying to get

But we do know players & agents happy to get the financial deal look at Ings going to West Ham

Steve Parish writes poetry about John Textor? How quaint.

Am I to think that clubs that have problems in the boardroom have problems on the pitch also?

Posted in Transfer talk but thought worth putting here too. It’s Ed Aarons but as to the truth, validity etc of this statement I’ve no idea really.

I'm always cautious when commentators use the present indefinite with a passive voice, though.....aren't you?

I suppose you could re-write that passage to read:

Textor is very cross that Parish wont spend the available transfer money to buy (crappy) players from Textor's other teams, give them PL experience and then sell on to 'another' Textor team so that he gets a better profit from it all...

or am I just being cynical here?

I believe that could well be an accurate translation Becky. According to others on here however could also be 'Parish reluctant to relinquish control of everything over Palace stifling transfer dealings'.

I feel like quoting a Spanish waiter from a beloved British sitcom to articulate my stance and insight beyond a 'Tweet' that was sent to me however.

I think we take it with a healthy pinch of salt.

I cant imaging Ed Aarons, knowing what Textor is thinking. Do owners often open up to journos to sh1t on fellow owners?

Plus, if there was a load of money available I'm sure we'd be spending it. I suspect EVERYONE at the club knows where we are short and need some reinforcements.

The perils of the written word! I was actually agreeing with you, not challenging you. In my head I was emphasising the word "always", but I failed to do so in print (with bold or italics). My head is now hanging in shame.
