Time to move Jes to the Den? Charleton in freefall towards relegation, Millwall fighting for a playoff spot. Clickbait says they are interested, along with Ipswitch and Wednesday. Would he get the time at the Den?, as we don't need another Malcolm E developing rust along the edges.

I keep a close eye on Charlton it is toxic at the moment both fans and the owner.

They are playing Brighton soon and expect it to turn into a demo. They love to throw their toys out of the pram or rather onto the pitch.

So agreed we should move Rak Sakyi he has done well in a failing and now managerless team and his form is now starting to suffer.

Not sure about Millwall they are flying and have this dutch midfielder my mates are raving about. Last thing I want to do is help them get promoted.

So yes to a move to a Championship club just not Millwall.

Agreed.

I was at Millwall when a young lad from Arsenal made his loan debut for them, wearing bright coloured boots and a trendy hairstyle, the crowd slaughtered him. He didn't last long.

They really don't care.

My mates say it's the Millwall way. Come to the club kick the opposition they will love you, if you not prepared to put your foot in they will ruin you.

If they can do it at Millwall, they can do it anywhere. Ask Harry Kane.

Anywhere bar Qatar I assume you meant.

Millwall are going well atm. If they stay true to recent years they’ll fall into mid table obscurity however still in with a playoff shout for now.

Rowett very conservative however, many a family member has opined their grievances with him to me despite their doing well (by Millwall standards). The biggest case for them at the moment is in being better than Charlton. Beyond that, I feel JRS would have to grab what would probably be limited chances at wall to establish himself in the first team and may not be suited to their current style.

Not a well informed opinion of mine though must say, mainly built off of an uninterested audience for subjective anecdotes.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Don't see Millwall as a good option. IMHO he'd be better off at Wednesday or Ipswich if they seriously want him.

How about trying him in our team? Edouard is useless out wide, frankly. Perhaps Rak-Sakyi could be used as a sub for Wilf? I guess it's a bit of an issue, as I believe he wouldn't be able to go out on loan if we did use him. I think you can only play for two clubs in a season.

Agree. From what i've seen of him a good div 1 team would be a better move than the Championship. Also Millwall will just be the wrong type of style for him - a lightweight winger who can drift in and out of games

However, if he does well in the Championship he will have proved himself. Doesn't prove much at League One level though. He's already done well there.

Rak-Sakyi looks the most promising of our young pros from the academy, and he's only just turned 20.

Even so, it's a long old way from where he is to even being an established first-team professional footballer, and further still to getting game time at Palace. As to him actually improving our team by being a consistent top-flight match-winner, well, if he was at that stage of development already you'd think it would show, however poorly Charlton are playing at the moment.

In the short term, I'd think a loan move to a championship side would be appropriate, if one wants him and will give him game time.

In the medium term, the biggest obstacle in Rak-Sakyi's path at Palace is a certain Mr Olise Esq, who plays the same position in a very similar style. If there was any reason to think either player could play on the left then Rak-Sakyi would surely get some sort of chance to impress in the summer, once Wilf moves on, but I think I'm correct in saying he, like Olise, plays exclusively on the right, cutting inside, and so both seem to be competing for the same spot. That's not going to help Rak-Sakyi.
