Only posting a link from NewsNow but you never know! We do need a RB, know nothing of 'Boey' but he sounds good, could all be nonsense, etc. etc.

I don't think there is anything in the AWB link, high might not be first choice, but they clearly need a back up. And to be fair to him, he's looked great when he's come in. Granted its not against the best standard, but Boey looks great. Especially compared to our RB's who cr@p their pants when they receive the ball. Touted fee feels steep given the fact they only bought him for £1.5 18 months ago

Why is it we missed out last season when Boey went from Rennes for just £1m. Here we are one year later and all of a sudden he is worth £15-£20m? Our scouting team is garbage if they think that is the way to buy a player.

And now he isn't worth 15-20m, its just what they are asking. Which assuming his is a PL quality fullback, isn't unreasonable.

It’s not like we haven’t required a full back since AWB departed.

I agree, I also don't think he's anywhere near worth 20 mil. We should start asking ourselves what Brighton or Brentford would pay. They wouldn't buy at that price - if at all. He's not that good.

Looked good against United this eve. Strong and constant threat in attack. I'd imagine he'll have quite a few suitors if Galatasaray don't qualify for the next round of the champions league.

Sorry samprior, I thought he was awful. Garnacho, had him, so much so Boey got booked & truth be told, lucky to avoid a 2nd yellow. He does like to get forward, but, defensively, very poor. Just my opinion.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
