Presumably the boys are scouting the World Cup. I've watched most of the games (despite promising not to care) but I've not seen anyone really (barring the obvious/too expensive players) that we could pick up within our price range (cheap).
Anyone else got any suggestions as to who has stood out and might strengthen us? I've been looking particularly at midfield and up front but no one - except for the obvious has stood out as being the Palace type of player. Anyway, thought I'd make this thread for your thoughts.

Just seeing Sarr being put out of our price range by being hyped up. Putting himself in the shop window is the old adage.

Still looks sh!t to me.

I quite like that Afif for Qatar! Beyond that no-one has emerged from the shadows thus far for me.

 

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Performance for national team in tournament does not equal performances week in week out for club.

Thus Jubali now looking good for Tunisia. Bet he would be cak if we bought him with fans offering to personally drive him back to Denmark, willing or otherwise.

Oh by the way I'm not sure it was intended but fair play seeking to neutralise the rubbish posts that pollute this site every two years. Normally from a new poster with a username like oxfn27q who (without irony) suggests a cheeky bid for somebody OBVIOUSLY out of reach.

Taremi plays for Porto, but he’s 30 and playing Champions League.

The other is Azmoun. Plays for Bayer Leverkusen. Used to play for Zenit and was their top scorer. Only 27 years old. Was linked to Wolves and West Ham a few years ago.
