Good evening guys .A while back I asked for some advice on my efforts to get 2k back of a developer who was holding my deposit when the deal collapsed .Well today after 15 months and 2 hours in court the judge ruled in my favour and made developer repay and awarded costs to me .Thanks for all your advice and help happy days.

They may not pay up and you may have to send the boys round.

The other trick is pheonix companies. They close the one that was taken to court and start a new one selling the assets to the new company for £1.

Yes Thanks No only 2 hours Lol !!! Yes has 14 days to pay although no guarantees cheques him out and worth a fee million ,So hopefully payment won't be a problem.

That's illegal and is something that creditors of the old company watch out for. Assets must be sold at their true value

To get around it the previous owner is not even a director of the new company. A front man is - the previous owner then sub contracts him/herself.
