Interesting Selection, nice to see some kids on the bench, about time a few of them got a chance with 11 players out of contract at the end of the season. Newcastle look strong

5-4-1 or the classic 3-6-1 formation?

7 academy players on the bench - hopefully a few will get some minutes but looks like we are keeping it tight and hoping for the best

Thanks Mileend. So, if there are to be any substitutions tonight it looks like some kids will get some minutes. I see Newcastle have made even more changes than we have.

I assume Guaita, Zaha, Eze, Edouard, Doucoure and Andersen haven't travelled.

I'll be happy to see those six back for Forest. We are in a good position in the league and 3 more points before the break would be a fantastic return. So I can see the logic of resting them.

But hope those who have made it on the team sheet really have a go tonight. Mateta must be desperate to get involved.

Subs bench is very interesting. I would like to see one or two of these young players get a few minutes at least, hopefully when Palace at 3-0 up!

Anyone got any stream suggestions? This seems to be the only game I can't find tonight...with Prem teams that is.

How can PV suggest that we are taking the cup seriously and put that team out.

Only one result. Win for the Toon.

Hope not 🤞

Oooh Luka booked.... there's a surprise!

38% possession

3 shots- 1 on target

4 corners and 6 fouls

still 0-0 and 2nd half to go.....

For those able to watch the game, how is it? Judging from the stats we are getting dominated in terms of possession but not many chances created by both sides...
