I suppose at least it’s optional. I’ve never worn a skirt myself but it must be liberating having fresh air to the old boy. Women seem to like them instead of trousers so there must be something good about wearing one.

I'm currently signed up to their Internet service. Changing to another provider next month and now I'm even more happy I made that decision.

Go woke , go broke. Plenty of choices for everything Virgin sell.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I suspect most women will continue to wear the red skirt it looks rather smart, given a choice I suspect its comfortable footwear they are more concerned about. No doubt some big beardy will want to wear one. AS the OP said I care more about prices than what the flight attendant is wearing. Virgin should focus on that.

Women seem to like them instead of trousers so there must be something good about wearing one. There are places in the world where a man wearing the equivalent of a skirt is completely normal. I once saw a guy in one, floating prostrate in a mountain stream and allowing the current to gently flow up and around his body. The look of bliss on his face was something I can recall very clearly. So, as you say, there is something good there. This may all feel odd, but that's just a cultural response. We'll get used to it. Change happens and Luddites will emerge for a while, until the fuss dies away, and we all join in.

I do care when that man says he's a woman and wants to use the ladies changing room.

As someone with a grandchild who is transitioning, I have heard the other point of view. They care too, but feel they are badly misunderstood. Now looking, and dressing, feminine, they would be scared witless to be expected to use a male changing room or toilet. They say they are no threat of any kind to anyone. The problem surely isn't them, but the imposter who takes advantage of these circumstances. How do we satisfy both points of view and avoid people feeling concerned? There aren't easy answers unless and until all toilets and changing rooms are individual and gender-neutral.

There aren't easy answers unless and until all toilets and changing rooms are individual and gender-neutral. Indulging in somebody else's delusions, or wishes, to identify as something they factually are not should not be requisite of the vast majority of the population. If people choose to act, behave or of course even dabble in dubious sciences these days to deny their own biological truth then it is up to them to decide what they need to do when they need a p!ss. It is not for the rest of us to have no option but to collude in this bonkers lie. Safe spaces are designed for women due to their vulnerability, Gender neutral toilets and changing rooms are not an 'easy answer', that is the stupidest thing I have read on this site even within a vast, vast array of nonsense and b0110cks that can be found, some of which I feel confident asserting that I have authored myself.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Their very own policy cannot forbid this but I’m sure the bad publicity would enable a reset to not so bloody stupid. Edited by cryrst (29 Sep 2022 12.21pm)
