I saw a Brexit article the other day celebrating how are inflation is better then the EU. I don't agree with that sentiment the EU inflation rate maybe higher than ours but that could be temporary even if it isn't so what inflation in this country is far too high to celebrate this as a Brexit victory. We are in sh*t just because the EU may possibly be in worse sh*t isn't a cause to celebrate.

We went to do some food shopping for my mum who lives there - my wife reckoned it cost about 50% more than it would've here. This was in rural Brittany not downtown Paris.

Many experts say we are heading for recession, inflation at 9.9%,interest rates predicted to rise sharply enhancing the suffering.Strikes and more planned.Cannot reasonably believe that failure Starmer coming to power will help one jot.Perhaps a UN negotiated settlement in Ukraine.

It would certainly be good if we could rid ourselves of this war. Truss just put another 100 billion on the never never credit card to ensure that our energy bills only doubled instead of quadrupling.....that's certainly not going to be good for inflation but what can you do....I'd say start prepping, buy some winter clothing and only heat the sitting room. In short we are bound and gagged and your big beefy prison cellmate has a worryingly large erection. It's not going to be fun, especially this winter.....let's hope it's better winter next. However, it's good that not everyone's in the same boat I suppose.
