She looked very frail in photos from Truss meeting.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

The way this is being reported does not look/feel good. Horrible news.

Pope Benedict was allowed to retire. Surely 96 is an appropriate age to give the great Lady a rest ? and give a chance for Charles to increase his formal duties ? or maybe that has already happened ? best wishes to the Queen and credit for a lifetime of selfless duty. Especially her giving her stamp of approval to peace in Northern Ireland. Edited by PalazioVecchio (08 Sep 2022 1.53pm)

Edited by PalazioVecchio (08 Sep 2022 1.53pm) She will never step down as she takes her coronation oath to serve this country very seriously. However the oath is what the new monarch wants it to be so Charles can alter his and should.

Fair enough. But hats off to her for all of her achievements. Record breaking in more ways than one. She will be a very difficult act to follow.

All news channels are talking in very sombre terms about Her Majesty's health. She is under medical supervision at Balmoral and the entire family, including Harry, are there or on their way to be at her side. Even us oldies have known no other head of state and the prospect of that consistent symbol of leadership being no more is hard to grapple with. Thoughts are with the Queen and her family.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Silent prayers for her. Good luck and hope she retires after a very long innings.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |
