Progressive, mobile, covers defensively.

Okay, not a world beater and pisspoor in front of goal, but I think the best we can put in alongside Doucoure.

He would help. I wonder what Vieira dislikes.

Doesn’t seem to get much game time. I think he’s better than his minutes suggest. Better than Luka on current form.
Is there an attitude problem. Seemed to fall out at Watford. A decent buy for the money we paid. Thought he’d work alongside Doucoure.

It's a crime that Schlupp starts ahead of him! Without a shadow of doubt Schlupp is the best player I've seen at making himself look busy without actually doing anything!

Couldn't agree more. Thought it was a great signing at the time.

I'm guessing Vieria likes Schlupp's pace and power.

But TBF, Schlupp has had a pretty good start to the season.

I think this is correct.
Schlupp's pace and power gets him the position for Vieira even though he's not a central midfield player which of course Hughes is.
It's a shame you can't combine Schlupp's energy and drive with the neat passing and anticipation of Hughes.
Then you'd have McArthur I suppose!
I can see Hughes being more as a substitute than a starter but I do like him as a player.

There's definitely something about him that Vieria isn't keen on as he hardly gets any game time.. Why he keeps bringing on Luka instead Hughes I've no idea..

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

And where is Jairo, not saying he brilliant but surely should be on the bench

Jairo is so low energy. That's the issue there

£8.1m is a lot to pay for a player who is no good. At least Hughes came for a bargain £6.3m.

Leicester are below us in the table but consider some of their midfielders compared to those on our books :

Tielemans, Dewsbury-Hall, Maddison, Ndidi, Praet, Soumare,Mendy.
