Well Palace aren't playing until the Sunday, so our Remainder friends on HOL have no excuse.

same crowd, same people.
Guess it depends what other marches or protests are on for them.
Must be awful.

As I wasn’t aware of the party, let alone the event, it’s not something I will, or ever would get involved in. What will be more interesting is to see what coverage it gets and whether it sparks a subsequent national debate. It might still be a little early for that. People have too many other pressing problems to contend with, but the tide has definitely turned.

If those who believe that the stupidity of Brexit needs to be reversed at the earliest opportunity can be described as “over-galvanised gerbils “ (as meaningless a phrase as I have ever encountered) then how should the bunch of self-righteous,self-serving political activists about to decide who will become our PM, be best described?

I don’t have have enough contemptuous words in my lexicon to produce an adequate label. As I am meeting my MP on Friday I will ask her!

It comes as no surprise that the globalists, federalists and their useful idiot friends will never let Brexit lie.

Brexit is the one single event that could save Britain from total disaster in the future.
Being wed to Europe is a guarantee of sinking along with the rest of European culture and democracy. At least while we are free, there is a faint hope that the will of the people can save us from cultural and genetic extinction and preserve a semblance of democratic determination.

Both the two major parties have stated many times that a rejoining is not anywhere on the horizon.

The Rejoin movement appears to be a self-indulgent waste of time by those who can't accept that we have left because a majority wanted us out.

I have to declare here that I DIDN'T vote leave, however I completely agree with you. It's interesting, too, that a 'National March' is in London and not 'across the nation' or at least somewhere more central.

Why don't they get in some boats and flee to the mainland of the EU utopia? They could perhaps use the vessels of the thousands making the trip from the EU utopia to this dreadful, racist, Tory country.

Unfortunately, today's protest movements are not about getting what they want for themselves but forcing what they want onto the majority who don't want it. They are just anti-establishment movements hiding behind whatever banner they can think of. I agree with you, if economic migrants can get in a boat to here for a better life, why can't those that love the EU movement do the reverse journey and be happy too?

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

As that's exactly the type of sanctimonious bs a xenophobic regressive would write, it can safely be ignored.

We are part of Europe. We need to be involved in its political direction and future. Only those with eyes which face backwards fail to understand that.

That's political posturing, which can change rapidly if it is seen to be necessary.

Did a majority want us out? A tiny majority who voted did, but that's not everyone, especially those too young to vote then, but could now.

In any case, things change. Experiences teach lessons. People accept they made wrong decisions, which we all do.

The beauty of democracy is nothing is ever cast in stone forever. Make a mistake and you can correct it.

In time, we will. Perhaps not now, but we will.
