Adama Traore contract expires in 2023 at Wolves. Could be an opportunity to throw a little cheeky bid and obtain his services for a decent price. Powerful, exceptionally quick and technically gifted and only 26 years old. Would give us great options in right midfield.

Micah Richards who was fleet of foot challenged Traore to a race when they were both at A.Villa and was beaten by 20 yards. Edited by Willo (22 Aug 2022 10.56pm)

Surely with Olise & Ayew as options on the right and our only real option on the left being Wilf, it's left sided wingers we should be looking at?

There is a reason, why Wolves don’t play him regularly in the starting line up. Also he isn’t a right midfielder.

He is a freak of nature but sadly I doubt we could afford the baby oil to keep him greased up for games.

Usain Bolt was remarkably quick, but it wasn't enough to make him a fantastic footballer. Always seem to think that with Traore it looks like he should be fantastic, but somehow the end product isn't there. Not a bad suggestion, but I guess there's a reason why he can't get into the Wolves team.

Usain Bolt played football in Australia a few years ago but I have not perused any reports that he was a roaring success. On the subject of Athletics, probably a couple of years ago, Adama Traore was training with sprinter Darren Campbell who advised him to run at 80% capacity so that he has time to pick his passes.

Thanks Willo. I can remember him going to play somewhere, but couldn't remember where. Traore has never quite lived up to the hype, and I suspect it's because he's a speed merchant whose end product is lacking. Originally posted by Willo

Traore was constantly linked to Liverpool. He hasn't kicked on though really, since bursting onto the scene. No idea why.
