I wanted him the first time around when he joined Watford and I had thought he was no longer an option, but this would be amazing if he did come. He is lightning quick and I think would be a fantastic addition.

I am open to persuasion that Sarr is what we need. Definitely if Wilf’s future is down the middle. However I would prefer the money spent on another midfielder

I really don't know him that well or have seen enough of him to convince me he is as good as they say he is. My only impression is derived from the fact many, many have said that he is very good and I think was/has been coveted for a while.

Sarr (if true), Ramos, Semenyo, AWB and the Serbian fella seem to be most likely for me, I'd be happy with a few of them. If one or none (as I anticipate) it will be a real let down and concern.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

We've had a long standing interest in Sarr, but the noise has died down recently and we've considerably strengthened the right hand side already with the addition of Olise and Ebiowei.
I know it's been suggested that Sarr can play across the front 3, but I've only seen him on the right of attack.
As others have suggested surely a priority should he a central midfield player, in particular if we have limited funds available and Sarr wouldn't come cheap.

I agree that the priority should be a central midfielder, however can you imagine how dangerous we’d be on the counter attack with Olise, Zaha, Eze & Sarr.

Could play 3 def, 2 wing backs, def mid, 2 attack wing, central attack mid with Zaha as striker (could rotate position with Sarr in match)

This is a deal I would like to see happen. (I expect it would cost a lot for him close to 30m not sure it's worth it at this stage)

We can try get a center mid on loan and I expect that would be it business wise not sure we would have any more money.

Will this happen possible but don't think so hopefully I'm wrong.

This would be a good acquisition but abit unsure on the plan.

Does this mean that Zaha is likely to go before the end of the window ?
Or, would Zaha play centre forward (like last night) and Sarr out wide.

In the main I believe Sarr has been deployed wide on the right.I heard last year that he played a couple of games for Senegal at full-back.We already have Ayew,Olise and Ebiowei who play out on the right.
I do feel that on occasions he plays on the periphery and can go missing in games.

It's a yes from me. In a good side, I'd think Sarr would rip up trees. He's been impressive enough in a lousy one.

With regards to Zaha, there seems little doubt that Vieira sees his future as being through the middle. The issue to date is that Wilf hasn't agreed, preferring to be out wide. But if Patrick's persuaded him to have a re-think then I think that's where we'll see him in future. For what it's worth, I also think Sarr could play through the middle in a very similar way to Wilf.

Not sure he is what we need right now - but undoubtedly would soften the blow when Wilf does eventually go (hopefully we’ll get something for him).

I think he has long been viewed as a natural successor but timing and price tag had prevented it. If £25 mill quoted is correct that might put a different complexion on things and he still has plenty of scope to improve and develop under our excellent coaching set up.

Forget Leeds it's between us and Everton, he does have a history of being linked with lots of clubs every summer.
