How do you think teams coming up will do

Reckon Forest will stay up and probably Fulham, but not convince about Bournemouth

Cooper not been relegated as far as I know but the other two managers have been from premier league

I think it’s between three that came up plus Everton, Leeds, Southampton and Villa, nothing for us to worry about 😁

Forest now bought 11 new players!

Will they never learn. The team that got you there will likely keep you there but a whole new team will take months to gel.

Teams that come up through the POs often have an early buzz that gets them enough in the bank to scrape through at the end. Not sure about forest. Good manager but they could be too far behind by the time they eventually come together.

Agree. Lingard is an odd signing too. Shatters the wage structure and has never played for a team that spends long periods without the ball and has to do defensive work. Screams that he's gone there for the money rather than for any late surge into the England squad. That's a signing that'll either be Zaha like for us or Robinho at City like for them. I think the latter is more likely.

Neco Williams seems a good signing, Henderson could be - the others are badly lacking on Premier League experience which makes the gelling process ever harder. At least they've bought young which should protect resale values.

Seems they have a decent manager who is going to need to work wonders to knit it all together.

Brentford for me also. Eriksson got them out of a big hole this year so they will struggle big time.

I think Everton are going to find themselves in big trouble this year.

They have sold Richarlison and thus far have only signed 1 player, James Tarkowski on a Free Transfer.

At the risk of facing a chorus of gladiatorial hostility,in my humble opinion we will not do as well as perhaps many are expecting and there is every chance we will not better our league position of last season.

They have just signed Ben Mee from Burnley.

I doubt if Villa are in too much danger, to be honest,

I think Fulham will struggle likewise Bournemouth. It’s a big ask for them to switch from controlling and bullying teams, to having to compete against significantly stronger sides.

Fulham have lost Carvalho and don’t appear to have strengthened in the same way as Forest.

I feel Forest will be the strongest of the promoted sides. However this will be clear by match week 7-8. Some interesting signings in there, I rate Cooper, but this season could make or break his growing reputation.

The WC could have a bearing on the outcome of the league by tiring players in the run over Christmas. As well as affecting things at the bottom.

My question marks are over -
Leeds - will Marsch be able to produce results without Raphinha. Will Bamford be able to score the goals they’ll need.
Everton - will Lampard be able to produce results without Richarlison. They started quite strongly last season, outside of DC-L who scores the goals? Andros? Gray? They have a few internationals that could be key misses if they go deep in the WC, and their form dips under the workload.
Brentford - It’s got Sheffield Utd Mk. 2 written all over it. However there are goals in Mbuemo and Toney if as a team they can keep things tight. Eriksen will be missed.

A couple of good signings could make all the difference for these sides.

I think Wolves over performed last season, Southampton under performed, but the mid table will be the same.

Forest possibly to stay up, the other 2, straight back down.

The gulf now between the Premiership and the Championship is enormous.

If Forest really have bought 11 new players (I havent paid that much attention) a lot of their survival prospects will depend upon whether those 11 buys were well thought out strategically driven purchases or "OMG were in the Prem we need to buy players fast".

I remember when we came up with Ian Holloway as Manager,
I think it was something like 16 new players we bought in the summer window, only after we got them all in did someone realise we couldn't get them all in our 25 registrations, (either that or we had hoped to sell a few players which didn't come off) glad we didnt do that again,

crazy times & a steep learning curve.
