Hi everyone my names is James magorrian I live in the wallington/ Carshalton area and have decided to have a go at buying and selling on EBay and Facebook marketplace, so far I am trying my hand at childrens toys, all the stock is brand new and still in the original packaging, having a 2 year old myself I know that toys and board games will always be in high demand! The aim is to be competitive if not cheaper than most of the big companies. Here’s where I need some help I’ve only just set up my eBay account and have no followers or reviews yet which I’m worrying makes me look like a scammer. So if anyone has eBay feel free to follow me and hopefully bag yourself a bargain my name is mrmagorrianswonderemporium. Always happy to negotiate an offer with a fellow palace fan. Alternatively feel free to add me on Facebook and check out my marketplace account where all the items I have are currently up for sale. Look forward to hopefully getting to know some of you and hopefully selling you some quality toys for your family members. Thanks for reading, James magorrian.

Good luck with your ventures James, keep us all updated! If you do make a very quick fortune however and end up a Billionaire, a nine-figure war chest for PV, some sort of drainage system in the Arthur, a reduction of ludicrous food prices in the Glaziers lounge and a box to be used on rotation for HoL users won't go amiss
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Kind of frustrating I didn’t realise I would be limited to only 10 listings in the first month! A little bump to check out my eBay account and to save me because I have a lot more deals coming. Also was looking for some advice on stuff to look out for.. how old and what are your Childers favourite things at the moment?

Now that I’ve sold enough stuff and am in the trusted eBay seller club I can now list up to 100 items finally! Will be selling pretty much anything I come across so it’s definitely worth a follow for a great deal. Will mostly be mens clothes and childrens toys so if you’re a dad, uncle, brother or grandad could be interesting to you. Sorry for the constant spam just working hard to try grow something that I’m passionate about. New items to be posted daily!

A tip: if you have a minimum price you are happy with then put some as auction bids starting with that price. Add postage on them as well so your minimum take less the eBay charges is what you get. People like to haggle and auction is a bit like that. Have a buy it now price as well so if it hits that you’ve made your dough. There is always or normally someone selling it cheaper so scan the item and at least match that price.

Unless it is a rare or expensive item I don't see the point in holding an auction it normally means the item is listed for days / weeks but the real bidding only starts on the last day so you have wasted all that time. I think it better to list it with a price as the turnover will be quicker, as a buyer I no longer take part in auctions I found them a waste of time and not really an auction. I have been gazumped many times, at the last minute someone outbids you leaving you no time to respond that wouldn't happen in an auction house the bidding continues until everyone is done.
