I suppose other clubs do this type of work, but it's really heartwarming to see our lads entering into the spirit of things with these local Downs kids. Looks like they all had a truly memorable day. Seeing all their happy faces is testament to everything that's good about CPFC. No wonder Patrick is enjoying his time with us.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Brilliant stuff. I can remember early 80's there was an older Down Syndrome man at palace called Leslie, they used to ket him wear the full kit/tracksuit and warm up along the side of the pitch during matches. Everyone near him knew his name and told him he should go on as a sub, very heartwarming stuff.

We are very proud to be Palace , the look of love and pure trust on their faces is priceless . Did anyone see the bit where Patrick said the kid to tell Benteke he should run quicker , so funny .

I have a s*** week, having been sitting with my mother in law when she passed away. This has cheered me up no end but can’t deny shedding a few more tears. The players were brilliant but the kids were totally mindblowing
