Perhaps I’m a natural worrier but I do have a concern if Zaha, Eze and Olise can be accommodated in the same team other than for brief periods where e.g substitutions are made.
The reason is that if you add a striker to those 3 that means 4 players who are not good at winning the ball back or adept at tracking back.
The modern game does not seem to permit that luxury and I suspect that our game would lack the requisite intensity with four players who don’t really contribute defensively.
The pragmatist in me thinks we’ll only see the three players feature in the same team on occasions.

I think they can , Zaha can work very hard going back. Olise and Eze can also do a shift going back maybe not as good but it can work IMO plus the attacking threat is class.

I agree.

Wilf does a lot more defensively than he used to. But Olise is quite lightweight and Eze isn't a ball winner.

I don't envisage the three starting regularly together.

It was good to see all three on the pitch together. I think it can work with two hard workers like Gallagher and McArthur (who was superb) in the team, particularly against a team like Leeds who offered very little going forward. I wouldn't like to try it against Man City.

of course the can, its similar to Zaha Moritz/Punc and Bolasie, but DG and Jedinak, guarded the centre backs, and Murray was fantastic, also the full backs need to be able to overlap, so in my opinion, RB, DM, and AJ syle forward are whats needed, and all the out of contracts not renewed accept Kouyate,

If we could get a defensive midfielder with the energy of Gallagher and the physique of Kouyate to sit behind them then it could work, but those sorts of players are rare. With Eze you have to basically accept he's not going to offer much defensively, but sometimes just being able to pass well and keep hold of the ball relieves pressure in itself. Zaha works really hard defensively. Olise is tall and quick if a bit soft at the moment, but he is still only a baby. Wilf was pretty lightweight at that age and now he's pretty strong.

Hopefully we'll get to see those three start a game before the end of the season, as in theory it would surely give us one of the most exciting forward lines outside the top four and there's no reason why we shouldn't be playing on the front foot in our remaining games. It would mean Gallagher playing deeper, but let's face it, he's not going to be here next season barring a miracle, so we have to look to the future.

Eze is beginning to work out his liaison with Zaha and does it better than Mitchell.

He is learning his trade in the Premier League and his passing is better than Schlupp and far better than Kouyate's.

Olise is learning quickly and all three will be an essential part of next season's campaign.

Once they learn Zaha's wiles and how to cope with often brutal challenges they will be fine and an exciting addition of the 'New Palace'

It worked last night didn't it? In respect of us not conceding many chances, only issue was that they didn't create enough.

IMO against the lesser teams, we need to play our best footballers, and trust in our ability. Which means having these 3 on the pitch.

We need to worry less about tracking back, or wining the ball back as we'll have most of it.

I was genuinely excited when Wilf, Eze and Olise were on the pitch at the same time.
These guys have tons of talent between them.

Wilf has always lacked good decision making but his skill with a ball is truly spellbinding.
Olise is incredibly gifted for such a young player and Eze is like a Rolls Royce when he is fully fit.

If we can add greater scoring power to that, then we will be a real danger to any side.

When wilf got the ball last night there were 4-5 leeds players on him straight away! we were crying out for olise to come on for the space on the other side! once that happen wilf had a couple of chances!

Yep , there is no reason why we cant play a system that showcases the talents of our more skillfull players . In fact the more the merrier .
We know we are not going to win anything all we ask is to be entertained .

It would appear that the vast majority believe that the three will feature together in the team at the same time.
I would love to see it happen, and work successfully, but remain unconvinced we’ll see it on a regular basis.
Aston Villa have dropped the attempt to play Coutinho and Buendia together on a regular basis and West Ham rarely start Behnrama, Lanzini and Fornells in the same lineup.
Although Vieira likes to play good football , he is not cavalier in his approach as can be seen by his utilisation of solid professionals like Ayew and Schlupp ahead of Olise and Eze.
