So the HF’s mum has put out this letter to the club, asking them not to put out any kind of display at Wembley.

First they stole your name!

Then they move loyal fans out of their seats, now this!

Is this some kind of joke, or do they seriously think they are the only ones who are allowed to support Palace?

Yes they make a bit of noise, but in all honesty they need a lot of help with the displays, some of which are sh!te.

Why exactly can’t we turn Wembley Red n Blue?

I'm a little bit backwards

I’m not sure where I stand on this, for me, it depends on what the club are planning. If it is no more than a glorified advertisement board, I am against it. The HF do promote a good atmosphere, however it is not always of a type for everyone to join in. Thought the way they arranged the singing section was poor ( not telling the unsuccessful) who then, in some cases, missed out on Phase 1 as they were waiting to hear.

The displays aren't too bad, shame most of their chants only have vowels though

In other words dont bring the penguin banner to the newcastle match because it offends the multi billionairs . Orf with their heads .

Apparently Sharon Lacey is getting terrible abuse on social media from some “fans”. What is our club coming too? We should be enjoying this weekend, trips like this don’t happen often….. yet!

I think looking at the badges at the bottom the display wasn't just planned from the HF, as well as that it will be a generic display the club put on similar to the one that chelsea will do. so it will just be bland and generic club paid for. I think si the point, rather than them wanting to do their own thing.

Oh all sounds a bit prissy and sad. The more the merrier I say. Have a banner from the club, have one from the HF. Loads of balloons flags banners inflatables etc etc. Whats not to like ?

The HF banners are part and parcel of the Holmesdale end and our previous if rare visits to Wembley . I might be wrong but wasn't there some sort of conflab in 2016 ?

If not there should be , the last thing we want is some lame message from the club/FA instead of the usually brilliant HF banners .

I plan to pen my own letter personally but will raise it on here too.

I am intending to wear my 97/98 home top to the match, with jeans and lacoste trainers. I think it would be an insult to my own personal culture and traditions if anyone were to wear something too similar and ask kindly that they do not. I'm also planning to grow an early Speroni-inspired ponytail and ask that other fans seek other ways to enjoy their barnet so as not to distract from me, including female supporters.

I like the HF actually, and do understand the sentiment behind the message, but writing a letter does seem a bit, well, there's plenty of words I will refrain from using but hopefully you get the idea. Are the club were planning their own 'tifo', sponsored by 'x', I doubt it.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I think what can rub people up the wrong way is the way HF sometimes talk as if the Palace fanbase had a referendum on the matter they're raising, whereas in fact this is a small section of the fanbase, just the one with the loudest voice. It sounds harsh, but I really don't imagine there are many people outside the HF who really give a cr@p about the displays. Personally I'd rather there was nothing distracting from what all Palace fans can surely agree on and that's beating Chelsea.

I still have the generic flag the club/ wembley provided from the FA cup final in 2016 as a souvenir. I remember united had similar flags but in red.

If it is something similar this time then what is all the fuss about?????
