Somehow the Foo Fighters have passed me by, although I know who Dave Grohl is (sadly because I've seen him on TV paying tribute to previously-fallen rock stars). What a sad affair. 50 is just too young for anyone to go, let alone someone who is appreciated by so many.

So sad, was really shocked to read this news this morning. Awesome drummer, absolute top bloke. Another one taken way too soon. RIP Taylor.

Has had his problems in the past so maybe that factored in, but who knows. Grohl often spoke of him like a brother, so it will be tough on him and the band. At 50 nobody expects a good friend to pop their clogs, so a horrible situation for all. RIP.

Even when people seem to 'have it all' no doubt outside of the limelight there's still a lot going on emotionally etc. All too easy in their position to lean into the rock and rock lifestyle...

The headline is: "Drugs found in body of late Foo Fighters drummer". Surely it would have been more newsworthy if no drugs had been found.
