Ornstein saying Guehi has been called up for the two upcoming friendlies. We should know for sure in about 10 minutes

He’s in, and Conor, hopefully they’ll both get on the pitch to make the games worth watching

Shaw the only recognised LB, who has not been playing regularly for Utd. Thought Mitchell could have been given a call up tbh

Olise called up by France U21s.

Great news for the fellas and the club!

The only other, asides from Wilf's cameo, was AJ in my recent memory

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Olise is an interesting one. Wonder what way he'll jump in the end.

Neat that we have I think as many players in the squad as both Chelsea and Man United. And as you say Mitchell was perhaps a tad unlucky to be behind Shaw.

Thought Mitchell might get the nod too considering the injuries.

Massive for Guehi and Palace. Still cant believe Chelsea let him go.

But what a great advertisement for us, would you rather sit as 10th choice at one of top 6, or get the chance to show your talents off to the nation.

To be fair to Gareth he's been great in giving the youngsters chances, so Guehi should get some game time, and prove that he's better than the others.

Oh I count Gallagher here - he's definitely made it as a Palace player no matter his registration. Did RLC also play for England when for us? Can't quite remember - it was certainly on the back of what he did for us.

Well done Mark, feel sorry for Tyrick tho, especially as the only recognised LB hasn't been playing for his club . . . Hmmm?

You know how it is, an England manager couldn’t possibly call up 3 palace players, I expect it’s hurt having to pick Marc and Conor

Congratulations to Marc well deserved. I cannot understand why Tyrick didn't get the nod with so many left backs injured. It's a friendly for god's sake not the world cup final give him a go.

As for Harry Maguire I can only assume that he has the negatives.

I know that this thread is about Mark(& CG) getting called up, BUT, in true HOL fashion, derailing the thread to congratulate Micheal Olise for being called up for the French U21's . . . [Link]
