Who else in your opinion was so committed to Palace on the pitch while on loan?

Some could argue Ayew was from Swansea, Sakho from Liverpool (never can forget that win at Chelsea where he was so shattered but wouldn't give up) and Paul Stewart from Liverpool too, to name 3..

But also was worse in your opinion, was it Bamford to kick things off?

Sanogoals ever was surely worse than Bamford but much of a muchness? Bamford has at least come good. Lotus Cheek was pretty good on loan, although Gallagher is the best I can remember.

Ashley Cole was good for us while he was here, and as already mentioned - Paul Stewart.

I can't think of any loanee more committed, more successful, more popular or more happy to be playing for us.

A truly inspired arrangement and we must acknowledge Dougie's role in making it happen.

When (or maybe, if) he goes back to Chelsea I will continue to watch with interest, as his career develops. A lovely bloke and he looks good in a dj too.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

We have had some great ones. Gallagher does take some beating that is because it is very fresh in the mind. For me Paul Stewart, now he was immense.

We must’ve been impressed with Ashley Cole, I believe we offered Arsenal a million squid for him, which was a lot of money for a youngster with no first team experience and considering we were supposed to be skint at the time.
He even managed to score his first career goal for us

To be fair its easy to see those who were committed to the cause who came on loan as they got in the side . Those who were not did not .

Surprised nobody has mentioned Mikael Forssell We had him on loan for 2 years. Always seemed fully committed to me.
