Just heard Jeff Stelling saying there is a 35 million buy-out clause for Olise! What?? I don't believe that. It has never been reported by anyone before, and in any case most clauses are kept pretty secret these days. I thought that was irresponsible of Stelling to let that out of the bag anyway. Maybe he spoke to Steve Parish over some drinks after the cup game recently. I think it was appalling to mention anything like that on a live programme like that. As i said, i would very much doubt that we would have agreed a clause like that

Just a guess, but if we did put one in I'd guess it would be higher (unless Olise insisted at one that low).

Regardless, if the player wants someone to activate the clause, I'm sure his agent could start running his month.

A couple of months ago I said he was a Mahrez type of player and would and should warrant the kind off fee Man City paid Leicester.

We benefitted from a much publicised £8M release clause to buy him from Reading, so we can’t really complain if the same thing happens to us.

Apparently Carl ( I believe he is respected “in the know”) says he has not heard of this and Parish does not like allowing them in contracts. So, who knows!,

There's only one thing worse than selling to both Spurs and Arsenal and that's selling Olise at all.

He is such a fine footballer and a real asset to our club, but if he continues to shine like he did yesterday we'll find it increasingly difficult to hang on to him.
