its easy to google Chelsea and find tons of sectarian crap, no surrender and all that. Plus Chelsea's longstanding amity with Glasgow Rangers and Linfield FC.
Forget Abramovich for a second. McGregor would be less welcome than a convicted nonce at a Jimmy Savile victim's support group. McGregor as their figurehead is an early April Fools joke. Edited by PalazioVecchio (03 Mar 2022 7.51am)

I didn't watch their match last night but was embarrassed to hear Shearer calling out Abramovich for not speaking out against the war.

So if it sells for £2 billion which he’ll be lucky to get, the net position is zero as he has a personal loan of £2 billion to the club.

The media are claiming that the selling price is £3billion and that his loans to the club total £1.5billion so there is a significant sum involved although it isn't clear whether the money will go to all victims or just Ukranian victims

I disagree. Well if he said that I’m wrong. I read the loan is £2b and he would give net proceeds.

He said “victims of the war” they could be Russian victims, he did not say Ukrainian victims, the “net” profit once worked on by accountants will be sod all

I think in any case it pertinent to say, from an English and footballing perspective, ha, ha, haa, haa, haa, haa. I don't particularly blame Abramovich, he could be a wicked person for all I know though, he's hid it well if so. Heard varying contrasting stories regarding his relationship with Putin but can't help to think he may be a victim or a scapegoat in all of this and has been left with little choice. Thought he seemed a nice fella. If I am wrong be gentle, I'm not proposing all of this from any intellectual standpoint, just my opinion but happy to be educated if so.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

It doesn’t matter whether he’s a decent bloke or not. He’s Russian and the only way to get at Putin is to make the Oligarchs suffer so that they turn on him. It should be a simple case of telling them, your country has committed war crime atrocities, get it sorted or don’t expect to be allowed into the western world again.
