Rather limp performance last night, but a win is a win!!

Would be very pleased with a point away to Wolves, 1-1.

So would I but our prospects depend on whether the manager fields a defensive 'Hodgson' formation or goes with a more effective No.9
than Mateta who is all hustle but has little hold up skill.

And finds a more constructive and effective midfield. We won't get this from the likes of Kouyate or Luka but maybe MacArthur and Eze ? Oh for the likes of a Barry Bannon .....

A lot depends on which Wolves team turns up. They were very ordinary at our place in the Autumn. Likewise they struggled the last time we fans were able to see them at their place (0-2 to us with Ayew and a Luka penalty). ON the other hand a Wolves like the one that went on a run around Christmas time would be a very different proposition.

I fancy us extending our 2022 unbeaten away run (currently 5 games including the 'Wall cup tie) so 1-1.

I agree with all above sentiments.

1-1 was my instinct and a result I will happily settle for. Wolves have the ability to be very good on their day and have individuals that can.. individually, change matches (thinking Moutinho long rangers etc.). They are however somewhat inconsistent, I believe we are better than my anxiety ridden mind tends to imagine, and this game is far from a write-off!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

It's unlikely to be a goalfest. There have only been 45 goals scored in their league games. Next lowest is Burnley with 54, in a game less

Having had another look, this is historically low. If kept up for the remainder of year the 1.73 goals per game would be an all time low in the Premier League. Games involving Leeds in 1996/97 had a total of 66 goals and the next lowest, in a 38 game season, is 73.
Games involving Liverpool averaged in 2013/14 averaged 3.97 goals per game

Wolves are looking like they are back to hitting good form. Funnily enough we do ok against them, so I will go with an out there 2-1 Palace Victory.

Mateta gets another one…..

If we turn up as we did against Stoke, they will murder us. With McArthur and CG in the starting line-up, 0-0 or 1-1 is quite relevant.

I would definitely take 1: 1 if it was offered today - I can see the game ending with 3 goals & both sides scoring but whether that's 2:1 or 1:2 remains to be seen.

i think it also depends on the line-up, i think it will be similar to the one that started against Chelsea with no Traditional No 9
