Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Khunt has recently strut his stuff over Dick, and this seemed like the way it was going to end.
However, the timing is contrived, as it allows Dick to swerve any repercussions IF Boris is further exposed by revelations/evidence.
Dick and BJ were always looking our for each other.

I think Dick pulled out at the right time, so she secures her fantastic police pension and credibility (for the moment)

So Khunt has won a slightly empty victory, and I would love to see Deontay Wilder put a right fist straight through the smug little 5hlts face.

The serious worry is who comes in.
I don't know what the process is but Sad Dick obviously has a huge say and we know that his earlier thoughts were to appoint a seriously left wing Commissioner.
There are calls that Boris should ne be involved which is stupid because he only has to talk to the Home Sec.
Worrying times in my opinion - the future of London is at stake and we know how the current Mayor is ruining the greatest City in the world.

Why has the mayor really got rid of Dick?

IS it the murders or the rapes or the knife crime?

More likely, it's because some policeman use hurty words that offend his precious minority voters.

Get used to it folks. London is now an immigrant republic.

Me too, YT. Until I was 40 the thought of living anywhere else in Britain was unimaginable but the next 20 years changed that. It wasn’t one thing but they added up to the fact that the place just wasn’t the same. Yes, change is inevitable but it isn’t always to everyone’s taste.
Maybe it’s an age thing - my friends have moved out of London and when I was in a position to retire the attraction just wasn’t there anymore.

It is stated than Khan isn't happy with her response to racism and homophobia, while he thanked her for her response to violent crime (including congratulating himself). That's exactly why she's gone. Expect an even more tokenistic appointment than already and even less response to violent crime.

It would appear that Sad Dick Kant may have overstepped the mark.
To effectively force her to resign without having the courtesy to inform the Home Secretary or the Queen - who appoints the Met Commissioner - he has not followed protocol.
She was no good but to be sacked by the buffoon posing as Mayor of London is really embarrassing!
I don't have polite enough words to post my thoughts of Sad Dick on this forum other than to say that he is a disgrace and certainly not fit to be Mayor of London.
