Dropped two points last night but respect the point!!

Brentford up next and noting their recent run of failure,we should pick up all points.
Going for a 2-1 win.

Made a fair go at Citeh last night, one goal being a goalie rick (who played a blinder against us at Selhurst). Only 3 wins in 16 for them, not great form, but all at home, against bottom feeders. Hoping for a rare away win (will we only win once away at Citeh all season?) but with our season form, smart money will be on a draw, 1-1 again. COYP !!

I predict we will start slowly, possibly give away a soft goal or two in the first half, most likely from a corner. I predict Joel Ward (one of my faves) will be targeted, will look past his best, and too slow for the Prem League. I predict Wilf will pass the ball backwards more than he does forward, and will not take anyone on.

We will move the ball labouriously sideways and backwards, with no penetration giving Brentford plenty of time to find their shape.

The second half will see us up the tempo, score a goal or two to drag ourselves level. We will be happy with the point, given that we were behind in the game. We will respect the point and move on to the next one. We will have >65% possessions and Patrick will be unhappy with our inability to convert the draw into a win.

Surely our good attacking intent is going to click in front of goal soon and surely we’re going to start quicker and play for 90 minutes instead of 45. Someone’s going to get a good hiding from us soon!! sadly I don’t think it’ll be this game!! 1-1 again with Hughes getting his first for the club

I feel very confident that we'll win this.

1-0 for me and relative safety. They are going through a bad patch and we seem to have a settled side now.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

I believe that Gribbos description is spot-on regarding the Norwich-game, but off course Zaha scored a stunner.

I agree that most likely we will see exactly the same on Saturday, although we cannot expect another stunner - and Brentford is a better side than The Canaries.

So we will need some luck to get a draw.

Play like we did first half yesterday - we could be in trouble..!!

On the other hand continue on from yesterday’s second half performance - we’ll be fine...!!

I am expecting to see Kouyate back in the starting XI in place of Schlupp - so that should help.

Ward as many others have said is a worry and I called this at the start of the season - but we have very limited options - is Clyne any better - not sure..!!

At times we’re playing some great stuff - but as yesterday mistakes and missed opportunities are/have cost us points.

Let’s hope things begin to even out and our performances yield the points we definitely deserve..!!

COYP

We don't seem to be able to play well for more than one half.

We really need some wins and this is one we can win and really must win if we want to avoid the relegation scrap.

Anyone missing Roy ball yet?
