So we got the kind of draw we would have wanted - home to Stoke. Shame some of the big boys aren't drawn together.

Get in,great draw, agree was hoping Liverpool or Cardiff would draw Man city.

Could be tricky for Spurs away at Boro.

At least it's at Selhurst. Never been to Stoke, but I hear Brittania Stadium is right next to the water and a tough place to play.

Obviously we can't get ahead of ourselves but at Least Stoke are not one of our bogey teams. Approach the game in the right way then we can dare to dream of the 6th round.

Only one definite all-Premier League tie; two if Liverpool win today.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

If you count crossing the canal to get to the car park beside the ground, then yes Stoke is next to the water. Not the prettiest ground to visit. The surrounding Stoke area does make Thornton Heath look like it is run by the National Trust, so nice for the Stokies to get a day out.

Only drawback for me is that Selhurst will be filled again with families, girlfriends and friends of freinds. Upper Holmesdale yesterday was a constant flow of people going in and out during the match for hot dogs, drinks and Pringles. Group in front of me played Hello Kitty games on their phones throughout the first half and left after 75 minutes. Hey ho!

I can imagine that was a tad frustrating for you but honestly I was pleased to see a lot of new faces yesterday, especially if that turns out to be the way to foster the next generation of Palace fans.
