Remenber the presentartion on 3 November 2017 featuring a stunning new main stand?

Today, clubs like Brentford and AFC play in completely new stadiums and Fulham are close to finalising a remarkable stand and area towards the Thames, so it is possible to create moderns facilities in Greater London .

Meanwhile we are still in the process of acquiring a few houses and landing a deal regarding the parkplace!

Lets enjoy the clubs good development in the Premier League, and fantastic new academy -and forget completely about an update of Selhurst Park. Few of us - if any - will live to see it....

According to wikipedia, Brentford originally announced moving to their new site in October 2002 and the new plough Lane was proposed in 2013. Might take a while longer yet.

I think that, given the incredible academy we've built, the near decade of Premier League football and exciting squad rebuilding process we're going through, you might cut them some slack on the stadium and assume that they're doing everything they can behind the scenes to further the process.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Thé problem is even with h a new main stand it will just show up the rest as outdated.
The Arthur with its posts is like going back in time and it’s facilities are dire. But I keep buying an ST in it.
Planning in Croydon is a joke like most places. I reckon it will be at least 3 more years before it’s built and open. And that’s if ever. These planning departments are farcical.

We should start a sweepstake on the start date.
I'm going with sometime in 2023. Let's go with March.

Won't be long now!

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I dare our Chairman to watch a game from the AW and have his guests try to go to the bathroom at halftime.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Bathroom???!!!!
I take it you are having a laugh!!
If you mean a couple of dungeons to piss against a wall ?
To be fair they have smartened up the mens latrines with some stainless steel.
I was so desperate v Liverpool.
I’d been in the Clifton for a couple. Came out with 30 mins before kick off to find the queues in to entrance 5 ran right down to the Away turnstiles then all the way back up Park road again. They gave up the covid checking and security checking was reduced to say one in 3. Thé bloke in front who was checked was at least 30 and was asked his age?
By the team I was in I couldn’t run cos I would have wet myself. Got to the Latrine which had queues right back to the exit. So I got to admit I went down the exit and just made the wall.
Not sure Parish has got a clue about any of that. If he has he should be ashamed.
Not enough entrances. Turnstiles are so historic. Not wide enough. Not enough of anything. Toilets. No food just processed cardboard.
Queues queues queues
You got to love Palace to deal with it all!!
Yet a new stand the other side?
Cmon.
How about modernising Arthur now! Before new main stand. Planning would be minimal by comparison
Complete overhaul. Cantilever roof. Get rid of the gantry
Modernise. Can’t believe it passes health and safety and environment checks.
THEN do the main stand.

Seems a good idea. No away supporters at SP. We would not be able to hear the ????.

Hopefully we would still get away matches. Could it be done in a season?

I now hope the current Main Stand will survive until 2024 when it will achieve genuine antique status and we will be able to celebrate its 100th birthday!!
