Even more appalling on Holocaust Memorial Day. David Lammy is the MP for that area, he was happy to ride Corbyn's anti semitic bandwagon until it served his interests to get off.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I'm not sure that we need to extract imagined political points from such a despicable attack. It's rather transparent to do so. We could perhaps though see it in the light of the reaction that visible difference may sometimes draw though. Regardless of personal thought, clearly anyone behaving this may should be locked up for long enough that they have a rethink about their conduct.

Which bit is imagined? Lammy was a fervent Corbyn supporter, Corbyn presided over an anti semitic culture in the Labour party. Presumably you either know Lammy spoke out against the antisemitism, or you disagree with the EHRC report. I am happy to withdraw my Lammy comments if the contrary is evidenced.

Much like the idea that Conservatives are all gunning for Muslims, I find it very hard to believe that everyone in the Labour party is sat there enraged about Jews. In fact, I think you'd struggle to find a minority that people in this country hold less angry or negative views about. So to assume that someone attacking a couple of Jewish gentlemen is somehow as result of them supporting Lammy (unknown) due to his connection to Corbyn who some believe is anti semitic is possibly up there with the most bizarre things I've every heard.

Any attack on any individual is completely out of order and all of us of reasonable mind think it is unacceptable.

This is the global village in action. How do they know the attack was inspired by anti semitism and not just general thuggery?

Practically every incident these days has to be boxed into the right 'hate' section, just like Ian Wright had to race card ordinary, decent football supporters/media for being pissed off with AFCON impacting negatively on the running of the EPL.

Although whatever was said it is pathetic a strong young adult should hit out at two old timers, it appears to me in the footage that the smaller Jewish man was firstly over interested in the black fellah as he walked towards them and it appears he was the one saying something. The police need to clarify exactly what this was about. It clearly wasn’t a mindless attack. The black fellah had gone by and based on the words then struck out.

I didn't see anything like that myself. However, I would certainly be interested in finding out more information about the attack.

Quite. Lammy is a feather for every wind that blows (especially if there is a race card to play) and is now struggling to reinvent himself in his new role. However, do you think he would have got elected if he was an anti-Semite in a constituency with a large Jewish population and especially strong orthodox community? Guilt by mere association is not guilt at all.
