Watched the second half of the Forest v Arsenal game and this guy stood out for me Brentford who have quite a good scouting record have had a couple of bids turned down

Son of David Johnson whose clubs included Nottm Forest,Ipswich,Burnley,Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd. Brennan Johnson used to support the teams his father played for but mainly Nottm Forest as he was brought up in the West Bridgford area of the city. Very good player but he doesn't look to be the same quality as Olise. Brennan is a great winger but hasn't shown to be a great player, he may develop but not yet first team quality. I now live in Nottingham and Djed spence is the stand out player when I watch them. oh how I'd love him to come in and replace Joel.

You must be brave living in Derbyshire but going to watch Forest!

It was Neil Warnock who said that Djed Spence could either play in the PL or non-league, it was up to the player.He also said the same about Victor Moses when he was at our club. It was Tony Pulis who signed Spence for Middlesbrough, on a 'Free' from Fulham. Just found this quote from Warnock regards Spence : Edited by Willo (27 Jan 2022 1.58pm)

Do you know why Spence doesn’t play for his parent club Middlesbrough? Weird that they sent him out on loan.

Johnson and Spence looked good on the Forest right. If Forest go up then think Spence would sign for them permanently Leicester looked tired and predictable in comparison to Forest.

They both look precisely the type of players we would go for. I reckon quiet enquiries may have been made, or else tracking. However, their current exposure will have upped their price tag and size of chasing club. No Olise type bargain to be had. We will thus likely secure neither.
