Norwich (their recent mini-run has been at the expense of Everton and Watford) and Watford.

I am really hoping for Everton to actually go down this time. I don't really want Newcastle to because it will be awful for the other Championship top clubs as the Geordies will gloat each week with their comfortable wins.

A tough one - Newcastle or Everton - which would cause me to laugh more - hmmm - probably Everton to be honest - but only just!
Watford must go - theirs is no way to run a football club and they need to be taught a lesson.
In reality - I think that Burnley, Norwich and Watford will go down.

I would also go with Norwich, Burnley & Watford, the only proviso to that is to see who of the 5 most likely to go down (Includes Everton & NUFC) has the easier last 5 games than others.

I'm sure there was another thread like this a few months back, I wish I could remember what I'd said in that one! I can see Norwich hanging on tbh.

I think Burnley will pull clear. When it comes to scrapping results they have a team built for it. The one obvious issue is replacing Wood, but use the money to buy two or three players and I think they will start winning ugly.

Norwich still look too soft, but of the current bottom 6 teams they are the one I'd like to see survive the most. I still think they'll go down as they don't have the quality or the physicality to match most teams.

Watford seem to have just thrown a bunch of random cheap buys into the mix this winter and have now sacked another manager. They have the firepower to stay up, but their defence and midfield look soft and disorganised. I think they'll drop.

Newcastle is very much down to whether they can bring anyone else in. If they don't sort out their defence they are in trouble and I'm still not convinced by their attack when Wilson is out. Based on their current squad I have them down as the third choice for the drop.

As funny as it would be to see them relegated, I just can't see Everton going down. Benitez did a terrible job setting up a team assembled for half-a-billion as if they were underdogs in every game. Providing they don't really f**k up their next appointment then I think they'll slowly climb into mid-table obscurity.

Us, Southampton, Leeds and Brentford could all potentially be pulled into the mix, but all four clubs have shown they can produce performances and results, albeit somewhat inconsistently, and so should get to 35+ points. Of the four Leeds have probably been the worst, but a big factor in that has to be their injury list.

I have had much soul-searching over this, but after the weekend I can confidently forecast that Liverpool will not be relegated.

If Roy takes over at Watford he might just have time to right the fast sinking ship - but it is a tall order.

Brentford and Everton look to be slipping fast.

Burnley are used to a relegation scrap and might just pull through
but I think it will be Norwich and Newcastle plus Watford.

There was & this is what you 'predicted' & no, im not 'stalking' you, just a bit bored today.

12th Aug

Possibly a bit early to be making such predictions and never easy to guess all three. With that said I'll go with

Brenford
Watford
Burnley

Norwich would likely need to beat the likes of us, so no thanks.
