I'll do a Lanzo and start a new discussion. We may be comfortably placed in mid-table at present BUT:

Cheeky
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

I say this to myself every other week, and I always live in hope. Shall I start another thread asking “ when do you think we will win away again?”

We will get points from the big 6 at home somwhere along the line. We have 2 against Watford, plus Newcastle and Norwich away. Dont panic. How many points realistically do you think the current bottom 4 will get? They are terrible week in and week out. They only have 17 or 18 games left including the top 6. We will only finish 13th, 14th, or 15th with the squad we have. No decent striker, no holding midfielder, no decent right back. A few more upgrades in the Summer and go again. In reality we need to start bringing through some 18+ youths to the squad. Mitchell came from closure of the Brentford academy, other than that Wilf and Wan Bisaka are the only 2 since we have been back in the Prem - very poor return all things considered.

I get what you are saying but if we can start converting a few of those unfortunate draws into wins we will be doing very nicely indeed.

PV is putting things together. I expect that the matches will come when all the guidance he is giving produces results - hopefully a couple of winning runs. Two runs of four is 24 points - which will do. Any ideas when the runs might start?

Since prem it’s Wan and Mitchell.
