I think this could work well as DM good passer an captain material, Tomkins or even Kouyate and Guehi as CD, leaves Hughes, Gallagher and McArthur to get forward more, certainly better than Luka
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Tompkins not a lot better. Keep 'em coming though Ad. When I'm next in Lanzo I want you to introduce me to Your Man

I'm not really sure it is reasonable. Not sure why you would even suggest it. The guy is a CB. You need very different skills as a CM. Just because he can play a few long rangers, doesn't mean he can be a CM. Plus when fit we have Macca, Connor, Hughes, CK, Luka, Jiro. So we have enough.

Much easier for an experienced CDM with the right attributes to adapt to CB than the other way around I think. CB requires the least amount of technical skill and vision as everything is in front of you (which is why I play there ). Anywhere in central midfield requires 360 vision.

Andersen can also play at right back, he has for Denmark, midfield is a step too far, not mobile enough.

Nowhere near mobile enough to play midfield - if I'm honest, for all of his good points, he's barely mobile enough to play centre-half!
