According to the Mail we're interested in the Burnley winger along with Everton and Villa. Burnley want £40m, we might offer £20m, could sell Zaha to raise the funds. Not going to happen, is it?

I would say McNeill is worth more than Wilf now, and Gallagher will be 80/90m if he leaves Chelsea

Didnt Manure pay somewhere north of £50 Mill for AWB ? If that was a reasonable yardstick its frightening to think what CG is worth in todays money. On that basis PSG dont have a prayer getting him for £50 Million, so I guess its just an opening bid to test the temperature of the water. Originally posted by doombear

No idea how much Wilf would be worth now. £20-30m? At this point I simply don't think he wants to be here anymore and if we could effectively get in McNeil, who is very talented and much younger, for roughly the same price as Wilf would leave for then I think it would be good business.

Awb has not performed well at United,probably half that would be a fair price.

I would have expected Burnley to pull a few results together by now. Looking rather dodgy for them right now. So, if Burnley went down and McNeill was available would he come to us ? 1. We would not spend £40m on any player (that statement is of the opinion that Gallagher would be way out of our price range). Maxwell Cornet on the other hand is a much better bet.
