Guilty. I have an old Doro mobile. I can send and receive text messages and make and receive calls. It suits me fine in my situation. I'm at home most of the time and have a desktop for my internet needs. To be fair, I wouldn't have clue how to use a smart 'phone.

I have a Nokia brick phone. It is capable of phone calls and texts when the battery is charged and when i can get a signal.

I am currently working as a Temp, and i have seen other temps use smart phones to keep updated on their shift pattern/changes.

I got a smart phone for christmas. It goes online on 1st January. it has a camera/video, video-call, internet, email stuff, which i will find out about in due course.
I also understand that the phone takes swabs from your hand, analyses your DNA and sends a complete dataset to any government agency that requests it. It also tracks your movements, your contacts and knows when you are having bad thoughts.

My lady friend with the old Nokio would put £5 on a couple of times a year a proper pay as you go deal. Virgin told her as of Jan 1 they are no longer offering that type of deal as you say Steeleye PAYGO now means a monthly payment not what I call PAYGO.

Anyway it was the kick she needed she was given a brand new Iphone 6 about 5 years previously had never taken it out of the box so muggins gets to set it up and teach her.

Our first lesson how to make a phone call:

Her "What's the big green button"
Me "That's when you want to call someone just press it and dial me."
Her after she has connected to me "and what's the big red button for?"
Me "Oh boy this is going to take a lot longer than I thought."

I have been summoned to Southwark in February which is not my nearest court. I am not looking forward to it as I am not a passive person I would prefer to be the person asking the questions.

I've been told if I go suited and booted with any luck the type of defendants we get in South London their lawyer will take one look at me and reject my selection.

If I wear a MAGA cap will that be pushing it too far?
