It looks like a brave cabbie thwarted a terror attack on a Liverpool hospital timed to coincide with the Remembrance day service.
As far the scum well he blew himself up.

Well done that man. Looks like this despicable act took the right person out at least. I hope the cabbie makes a full recovery. Brave guy.

Assuming this was meant to be a mass-casualty attack (and I concede this is a massive 'what if' on my apart so apologies for the speculation) then the implications are beyond horrendous. Up there with the utter horror, and sheer barbarism, with what happened at the Manchester arena. Almost beyond comprehension.

Apparently the explosion has made significant improvements to the local area.

Apparently he originally asked to go to the local Remembrance day service but changed his mind when he realised he could not get near it due to road blocks. I assume the hospital was his backup target. Absolute "bar steward" deliberate soft target. Let's hope the cabbie gets a medal. Edited by Badger11 (15 Nov 2021 9.14am)

Seems original target was Remembrance service but traffic made that impossible. Let's see the back story of the three arrested, domestic terrorist, " refugees ", time will tell. I doubt they were radical Mormons George Medal for the driver

I hope he got paid out before locking the door! The passenger thankfully paid in full. And unfortunately for him the only virgin he'll ever be getting his hands on was himself.

I've just seen the video of the explosion not quite how the media originally reported it. They said he locked the car doors jumped out then bang. The video shows the taxi blows up and then the driver leaps out. Anyway glad the driver is safe.
