It seems strange that a new fuel is introduced (E10) and we have pandemonium at the pumps is there a connection?

Nothing to do with E10. But definitely linked to No Time To Die. I think you'll find that Blofeld is still controlling Spectre from his prison cell and will attempt to hold the world to ransom by sabotaging strategic petrol refineries globally.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Panic buying, whatever happened to the stiff upper lip and make do and mend attitude.

I feel sorry for anyone who works on a forecourt or drives for a living, too many idiots out there.

As for priority workers nice idea not very realistic.

Who should get priority a GP or a traveling salesman. The GP? Yup if he makes home visits but if he refuses to see patients face to face no, well how do you identify that?

No if we all calm down the problem will go away.

Why are the police not stopping cars turning right into forecourts and blocking whole areas up? When it’s only queue on the left the roads still function as roads and not car parks.

When does everyone think fuel will be easy or easier to buy? Next week sometime? We’re now into those queuing who need it to use it rather than think they should hoard it. On the hand it’s good they’re filling up so they don’t need to refuel for a while. On the other hand it’s bad because after queuing for half a day they fill up for obvious reasons so they don’t have to again, causing 3 days of a garage’s fuel to go in a day or half a day.

The police have been shamefully invisible during this and unless they Marshall this, it ain’t happening. Too busy with unicorns on cars and sorting out costumes for the next in trend protest.

Probably because the hoarders will have full tanks as most only use their cars for a few miles a day to take their kids to school.

I would like to have seen a standard charge of £30 for fuel with the pumps programmed not to dish out any more and those that only needed a couple of gallons to top up paying a premium for their anti social behaviour.

I expect electric car drivers will be unbearably smug at the moent

Until recently I thought E 10 was Leyton and Hackney Marshes.

No connection at all, and according to boris, "THERE IS NO PROBLEM-WE HAVE ENOUGH FUEL IN THE COUNTRY!"I know this may annoy the worker bees driving around for hours , looking for a fuel station open, when you should be in bed zzzzzzzzz, but just say these words to placate your angst- "THERE IS NO PROBLEM, WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH FUEL IN THE COUNTRY!" That should work, very wise words boris, very wise words!

Looks like brexit is coming home to roost.

The world loving it, particularly Russia.

'Misty Albion' food and petrol shortages reminiscent of the soviet era.

Will the Brits be queueing up for sausages, soviet style?

I won’t as I don’t eat meat! Have you not left the awful U.K. yet? Why not? I’m sure Orange could find you a place
