My email client, Emclient is having problems with it's Microsoft 0Auth certificate. This means I cannot send or receive mails. Apparently it is up to Microsoft to fix this, but I am not holding my breath. Does anybody use a free email client that they could recommend that doesn't have issues. For a temporary measure I can logon to my outlook account directly, but an email client is better. Any suggestions ?

You could try, Mozilla Thunderbird. I started using it a while ago. My version of outlook was old and the later versions, I didn't like. I found it to be much better, very easy to customize and if your familiar with outlook, it won't be too much of a leap to get to grips with. You could try, Mozilla Thunderbird. I started using it a while ago. My version of outlook was old and the later versions, I didn't like.

I found it to be much better, very easy to customize and if your familiar with outlook, it won't be too much of a leap to get to grips with.

I have been using Outlook 2003 quite happily for 18 years and don't really want to change but quite co-incidentally it ground to a halt today saying that my pst files have hit their limit.

There are workarounds involving fiddling about with the registry but just reading how to do it frightens the life out of me so I was wondering if I installed Thunderbird could i import all of my existing emails into it from Outlook?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

If the emails are still on the host's server, then I'd have thought Thunderbird would download everything they've got.

I was actually using Outlook 2003 as well but when I upgrade to Windows 10, I didn't want to install it, as it was so old. You can easily import all your Outlook files and folders into Thunderbird, there is an import from Outlook tool. Setting it up and using it for multiple accounts is easy as well.. I was actually using Outlook 2003 as well but when I upgrade to Windows 10, I didn't want to install it, as it was so old.

You can easily import all your Outlook files and folders into Thunderbird, there is an import from Outlook tool. Setting it up and using it for multiple accounts is easy as well..
