Genuinely sad to see him go, but wish him all the best with Preston. We never got to see him regularly due to injuries but there was potentially a great player there IMHO … opportunity missed sadly.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

Always remember him getting the tube back with the palace fans after the play off final win, nice touch.

If not for a biased/bent ref he would be one of our heroes and if not for an overdose of glass bones he might have been one of our heroes. Goodbye and good luck for the future.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

had all the tools to be a top player for us, was just coming into goal scoring form when he did his cruciate. Such a shame but hope he does well for himself in the future. Will never forget the header against Watford and the goal that should have been in the final. Nice one clatenburg

Well said, mate. An undoubted talent, sadly unrealised. I wish him well and hope he can stay injury-free.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I really hope he does well at Preston.
I fear the worst though, that he'll break down again, pick up another long term injury.

Echo all of the above. Had all the tools to be a top striker for us...just couldn't stay fit.

All the best.
