Gert Frobe was fantastic in Goldfinger. Charles Grey was great as Blofeld in Diamonds are Forever. Robert Shaw was a henchman not the big baddie in From Russia With Love but he was great. they'd be my 1-2-3 I'm leaving out Jaws. all the later ones are cr*p - apart from Daniel Craig's Casino Royale and the bloke with the weepy eye was good.

No, they want to shag Bond instead.

And Bond's onboard with it.

It's like reports that the new Superman will be gay.

They subvert all the traditional characters rather than make their own.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Bond trivia, Gert Forbe's English wasn't good enough at the time so he's lines were re-dubbed by Anthony Hopkins.

When they restored Spartacus one scene was missing audio so Sir Anthony was asked to re dub Laurence Olivier.

Apparently he has quite a talent for impersonations.

I don't have a particular favourite. But I would not be satisfied with any nemesis that doesn't have strong unspecified foreign accent, a white cat on their lap, wear a collarless jacket, reside in some expansive futuristic bunker with tasteless art on the wall, and of course, at some point, utter the words "so Mr Bond we meet again, but this time the advantage is mine"

Hopkins did an impersonation of Lawrence Olivier doing a Hopkins voice.

Traditional Bond villains did genocide.

Today's villains are planning to smoke in a pub while refusing to sort their garbage for recycling.
