Which App will be required to have to show you have been vaccinated? Presumably the NHS Coved Verifier or do we need the NHS App

That won't do. You need a proper NHS report which gives far more detail and is available via the NHS App

From memory that doesn't even have your name on it

You just had me running upstairs Midlands to check. Mine does, at the top, hand written, you can just write yours in, but a tad disappointing that you need the app, was relying on the card in my passport holder for any trip away, thanks for telling me!

I was gonna rely on my card that has my name written on it. I even went to the trouble of lammenating it too.

I haven't got a smart phone so not sure what I can do if need an App to prove it.

I have a letter from the NHS with my details and the jabs I had. It also has a barcode.
Google 'vaccine passport' and go to the NHS website.
Put your name DOB and address and a week later you will have the letter. It actually states on the top that it is your vaccine passport. Eventually I would imagine it will be made into a credit card size at a nominal charge.

Good luck holers.

You need to be registered with your GP for online services so don't leave it until the last minute

@eritheagle You can ask NHS to send you a pass over the phone

Via the NHS website, you can request a letter of proof of vaccination. Received mine today only took a few days. Can’t beat a good old fashioned piece of paper. You could also get the NHS app as belt’n’braces, but so I’ve been told, must be downloaded shortly before travel commences as only lasts for 30 days before the allotted QR code expires. Each vaccination is given a QR code, hence two QR’s.

Used that at Ipswich but I think they need better proof. I wrote my own name on it!!

I know I am a little bit thick but is it the normal NHS App? I see there is one that says NHS COVID Verifier. Probably down load both to be on safe side
