Manchester United have said they'll let him go out on loan and I think the project underway at Palace could convince them to send him our way. With a young attacking team being put together he could thrive.

He has seven senior appearances under his belt, nearly all of them as a late sub. We have Banks and Rak-Sakyi as exciting prospects coming through, so I'm not sure about this one.

Certainly an interesting talented young player, but not one of ours, and not likely to be. It seems as it’s now old news that Palace are reducing the average age of the squad, every time a young prospect becomes available we are linked. If we can not rely on Rak-Saki just yet we could do with another right sided player capable of working up that wing. As we need two or three more players, it’s probably means one or two more loans. At the very least this kid would give us another year to bring in a more permanent solution .

I'd ditto Silvertop upthread AFCON. We lose Wilf Ayew and Schlupp presumably. It needn't be the decisive factor in who we get in on a loan but it's one of those that could look very careless a few months down the line especially if he's there primarily as cover

DM (take with a pinch of salt) saying Palace among the clubs interested in Amad on loan. Would be a good fit in the system and could learn a lot with fellow Cote d'Ivoire international Zaha. As well as that, Amad isn't in the AFCON squad so could provide cover for Zaha in the January-February period as well. Edited by inflikted (30 Dec 2021 7.51pm)
