Undoubtedly he's a t*** (and my opinion of him dates back to when he was the Conservative MP where friends of mine live) but if he has pension rights then he's entitled to draw them when he chooses to, within the rules. Changing one's mind about a pension start date is hardly hypocrisy, and in any case the amount at 58 will be actuarially reduced for early payment.
